One map, the whole product

Most travel sites give you a map of search results. This is a map of Cabana itself — every country, city and neighbourhood the platform reaches, with the categories that are live in each one. Click a pin and you get that place's real nightly range, its season, its currency, how people pay there, what a visitor needs to enter, and a direct link to every bookable page behind it.

Nothing on the map is decorative. Every pin is generated from a page that exists, so the globe cannot advertise a destination that goes nowhere. Where a place has live, bookable inventory in our database, the card says so and shows the real price range. Where it does not, it shows the typical range and says that is what it is. A travel map that guesses is worse than no map at all.

Fly it like a camera, not a scroll wheel

The camera pulls up, crosses the world at altitude, then descends onto its target — so a jump from London to Lagos reads as a journey rather than a cut. Arrivals end with a short focus beat, the same way a lens settles. Longer distances take longer, but only somewhat: the whole point is that the world feels big without the wait feeling long.

Six optics. Aurora for daylight, Ivory to read, Midnight for the globe after dark, Savannah for warm African light, and two ported straight from the open-source God's Eye View project — Noir and Nightglass. Press 1 through 6, or use the rail at the top of the map. The whole planet re-renders through the optic you chose, chrome included.

Six tours. The Grand Tour crosses every continent in half a minute. The East African Circuit runs Nairobi to Kilimani to Nakuru to the coast, the way guests actually travel it. The Diaspora Run flies the routes home — London, Paris and New York into West Africa. Press one and the camera takes over until you touch the map, at which point it hands control straight back.

The corridors are real. The animated arcs are great-circle paths between places Cabana serves at both ends — diaspora routes, trade corridors, safari circuits, domestic hops. They are the shape of how the world moves through this platform.

The camera position, the optic, the filters and the place you have selected all serialise into the address bar. Press the share control and you get a link that opens on your view — same place, same optics, same filters.
