Algeria is built around Tassili n'Ajjer's prehistoric rock art and Roman cities with almost no visitors. The country runs on Arabic, French, Amazigh, prices in DZD, and centres on Algiers with major hubs at Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Tamanrasset. Flights route through ALG.

Across Algeria, a night runs roughly US$25–150 at market rates, from simple self-catering apartments at the lower end to lodges and beachfront villas at the top. Those are guide figures for the country, not Cabana quotes.

Paying for things on the ground
