DR Congo is built around Nyiragongo's lava lake and Virunga, Africa's oldest national park. The country runs on French, Lingala, Swahili, prices in CDF, and centres on Kinshasa with major hubs at Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Goma, Bukavu. Flights route through FIH.

Across DR Congo, a night runs roughly US$40–250 at market rates, from simple self-catering apartments at the lower end to lodges and beachfront villas at the top. Those are guide figures for the country, not Cabana quotes.
