Why Uganda is worth the trip

Uganda is built around mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi at roughly half the permit cost of Rwanda. The country runs on English, Luganda, Swahili, prices in UGX, and centres on Kampala with major hubs at Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Fort Portal, Mbarara. Flights route through EBB.

Where to stay and what it costs

Across Uganda, a night runs roughly US$20–110 at market rates, from simple self-catering apartments at the lower end to lodges and beachfront villas at the top. Those are guide figures for the country, not Cabana quotes.
