Why Sudan is worth the trip

Sudan is built around Meroë — more pyramids than Egypt, and almost no one at them. The country runs on Arabic, English, prices in SDG, and centres on Khartoum with major hubs at Khartoum, Port Sudan, Omdurman. Flights route through KRT.

Across Sudan, a night runs roughly US$25–120 at market rates, from simple self-catering apartments at the lower end to lodges and beachfront villas at the top. Those are guide figures for the country, not Cabana quotes.
