What are Cabana Credits?
Cabana Credits are money off your booking. One credit is worth one Kenyan shilling and comes off the total on stays, tours, events and car hire. Every new account opens with 200 free welcome credits, and Cabana adds special credits from time to time.
How do I see credits in my own currency?
Choose your currency in the picker on your Rewards page or anywhere you see a price. Credits are valued in Kenyan shillings and shown at the live exchange rate in dollars, euros, pounds, naira, rand, cedi and more than 40 other currencies. At checkout Cabana confirms the exact amount in the currency you pay with.
What are special credits?
Special credits are extra credits issued by the Cabana team as a thank-you, a campaign, a partner promotion or an apology. Each one can have a deadline, a start date, a limit on how much one booking can use, and a list of services it works on. Your Rewards page shows every special credit and when it ends.
Do credits expire?
Your 200 welcome credits and everyday credits do not expire. Special credits may have a deadline, shown next to the amount. Credits that end soonest are used first, so nothing is wasted. If a booking does not complete, the credits come back to you.
How do I use a credit code?
Open Rewards, enter the code in the credits box and tap Add. The credits appear at once, or on the start date the campaign set. Each code has its own limits, such as how many people can claim it and the last day to claim.
Where can I spend credits?
On stays, tours, events and car hire. Flights, food, shopping and rides are sold at or near cost, so credits do not apply there.
Can I turn credits into cash?
No. Credits are for bookings. If you want to earn cash, join the Cabana referral programme, or become a creator, agent or ambassador.
