Bali: frequently asked

Is Bali safe?
Bali is one of Southeast Asia's safest destinations for tourists. Standard precautions apply. Avoid Kuta's heavier nightlife scene if you want a calmer experience; Seminyak, Canggu and Ubud are very relaxed and safe.
What is the best area to stay in Bali?
Depends on your style: Canggu for digital nomads and surf; Seminyak for beach clubs and food; Ubud for culture, yoga and rice terraces; Uluwatu for world-class surf and dramatic scenery.
Best time to visit Bali?
April–October (dry season) is the best time. July–August is peak. November–March is the wet season. Cheaper but afternoons often rain. Shoulder seasons (April–May and September–October) offer the best balance.
